Write oneAfter paying $3000 in repairs, when I go to pick up my vehicle, there's another $300 in repairs, which I did not approve. They did without notifying me prior.
And after all that, as I'm driving away my Check Engine light comes on. Had someone else look the vehicle over and pretty sure something shady was done with my engine.
I've been very satisfied with Adams auto in the past, but after this experience, I think I'll be going somewhere else.
These guys were able to work me into their schedule after I experienced issues with my truck nearby and was barely able to limp to the shop. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue spending a little extra time of their day to get me back on the road.

After the change in ownership, Adam’s Auto is no longer the trustworthy shop it once was. I recently took my car in due to a check engine light. I was told I needed new catalytic converters and agreed to the repair. The car ran fine for a couple of days, but by day three, it began making a loud noise as if there was a hole in the exhaust system. The check engine light also came back on.
When I returned to the shop, I was told nothing was wrong and advised to take the car to the dealership to have the ECU reprogrammed. Unsatisfied, I took the vehicle to two independent muffler shops. Both confirmed there were two leaks in the exhaust system, including one in the area supposedly repaired by Adam’s Auto. I was also informed that one of the catalytic converters had been modified, and the welds on the two converters were clearly different—raising questions about the quality and consistency of the work.
What was even more concerning was that the owner contacted my stepdaughter place of employment (an auto parts store) to ask for my name—information that should have been available on the invoice. If the owner remembered my vehicle and claimed it was the only one they installed catalytic converters on, why the need to go through a third party?
This experience has been deeply disappointing, both in terms of the workmanship and the lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this shop to others based on experience.
