Over the top customer service. I felt like I was shopping at a family business, the way it should be. Brandon was quick to show me where everything was, knowledgeable in everything I had a question about, and recommended a few things I hadn’t thought about. And HILARIOUS. Full of charisma. He helped me shop, checked me out, and ended the experience with “we’ll fix you right up”. I’ll be back!!

Stopped in to the Barre, Vt. Store to get a quote and drop a screen door to a slider of for repair. I received a very reasonable quote from Janet and she miraculously fixed the door while I waited. Not only did she do an excellent job, stayed within the price quoted but saved me a trip. Thank you Janet for the wonderful customer service and amazing job and on a Sunday afternoon to boot.

The Barre store customer service is consistently abysmal. Today I was only customer in store. 2 employees at register. 4 others having a chat in the back. I walked up to them while they stared. Held palms up in the universal help sign. I was pointed to the rear of an aisle. Still couldn’t find what I wanted. Instead of walking back across the store asking again I walked out. I only stopped today because I was passing by. This is the norm and why I only go if passing by. Kick myself every time I stop. I’ve heard the same from my friends. Nelson Brothers is the complete opposite. Every employee asks if you need help. Walk you to the item. Make sure it’s correct. Be it 1 screw or a gas grill. Your employees need to go check how the job should be done. This was not a one of experience. It’s every time. I laughed when walking in and saw a QR code to rate customer service. There is none.

I can’t believe how rude the service is here! The individual who cashed me out, couldn’t even smile or say hello! It’s almost like I’m a jurk for walking into the store! I’m OLD AUBUCHON TOO! I got tons of nails from Chet in Greenfield when I was a kid. Bill Jr. and Reggy would be ashamed 😢
