Capa Construction Inc

We decided to redo our entire outside home at once, Siding, Windows, Entry door, Garage door frame and more.
After 4 Bids, for Windows, Siding and Door project, Cappa Construction was our choice. Their bid was competitive, but what sold us on Cappa Construction was Tom, the owner, and how we felt after our meeting with him. Tom was such a genuine person that listened carefully to us, offered additional small upgrades at very competitive prices as well as offering additional suggestions to add to our project. Many online reviews praised his honesty, fair pricing, and his work crews attention to detail.
They were correct in that for sure. Let me add, this is a man who stands by his word, and lives your renovation as if it were his own house. His crews are wonderful people that we met also. He uses high grade materials, and is on site when each phase begins and ends. He also was the only bid to offer to add a 1/4 fan fold foam under the siding and along with the house wrap, to improve how smooth the siding would lay on the house. Tom you get 10 out of 10 stars from us.
Our first team was Windows, which was Greg and John. John was probably the most detail orientated installer I ever met. His care and craftsmanship along with how he cleaned every area he was in when finished was truly a joy to see. Greg was just as great, offering suggestions and options to what ever questions we had.
Next was the siding crew. I would classify them as Fast and furious in a good way. It was like a fast paced video how they went to work removing siding inspecting for any weather damaged area's and installing all the new materials.
We changed, added, adjusted options all during the install which Tom carefully made happen for every request. Any small weather damaged area's over the years were inspected and replaced as part of their normal process.
Last Phase, was the Gutters, which as the previous crews went very well. They carefully explained where to position downspouts for best performance and were as clean and careful as every other team that were here.
CAPA Construction does just about every home remodel you can imagine, inside and out. If you are in the market for a fresh new look, you really should Call Tom and his team.

We're a few months late writing this review, but we wanted to make sure that we recognized the extraordinary work completed by Tom Saner and his team at Capa Construction. Capa performed an absolute miracle on the exterior of our home, transforming it from the dated 90's look from its original 1999 construction into a stunning new construction look today. We cannot be happier with the result! Tom and his crew replaced all but 2 of the original windows, siding, shutters, front and rear entry doors, soffits, gutters, and fascia. Perhaps the best addition to our home was the stone façade added to the entry way. The transformation is almost unbelievable.

In addition, we’ve seen tangible energy savings with the new windows, doors and insulated siding. Even with the brutal Chicago winter we experienced this year, we’ve noted about 20% in energy savings on just the natural gas bill alone.

My wife and I still marvel at our home every time we pull up in the driveway. Not only were the results spectacular, but the quality of the craftsmanship throughout the rebuild was superb. A great crew of professionals worked on transforming our home for nearly a month, and the results speak for themselves. We can’t say enough about our great experience with Capa Construction!
