I went to the Public Market and found so many good deals and products! The locally produced produce was fresh and delicious and the prices were very affordable! The vendors were very friendly. One of the patrons even told me about a voucher program they offer for people with disabilities and snap that is awesome! As someone who lived the flea market life growing up in South Florida, this market is definitely a great place to visit! My mom wants to go back before we leave so she can snag a few more $10 dresses 😆.
City of Rochester Public Market
Reviews
Write oneOne of the best public markets around. Open all year. Both indoor and outdoor spaces for vendors. The outdoor area is covered. Lots of parking although during peak summer hours you will need to drive around to get a spot and be prepared to walk. Excellent mix of vendors. You can sit down and eat or do your produce shopping. You can also find local gifts, clothing, bakery items, liquor, wine, and specialty ethnic items from around the world. Not all vendors have permanent spaces so selection may vary by time of year. Good weather days are busy. Spring has lots of plants. Christmas has lots of gifts.
Great variety of products.
Friendly staff.
Reasonable prices.
I will always buy here
A nice experience. Place are packed and have many options for every taste. If you have the chance go to a homemade jelly stand for a nice lady, her jelly is THE BEST
Love this place! They have a variety of options for produce, cheeses, snacks, flowers, and other items. There are also coffee shops and stores within the public market area. Prices are good and the people are very nice. This is also a great activity for a weekend to go with friends or family. I definitely recommend going as switch up from Wegmans.
