Very nice tour. Doesn't get much more prestigious. But left feeling a bit commercialsized- we think due to our tour size. Spend the money for a more private tour.

My wife and I drove 10 hours to tour some of Lexingtons horse farms. This was one we were looking forward to the most. It did not disappoint!! We both felt the history and standards immediately in the first moments of arriving. Wonderful farm, highly recommend!!

No walking was great. Got to see and interact with mares and their foals. Very awesome. Met some handsome stallions, War Front and Blame. And at the end, legendary Secretariat. . . at peace. Excellent tour, super informative and extremely historic. An absolute must do when in the area!

If you love horses and love horse racing, this famous farm is a must-do/see horse farm. We took the 1 hour walking tour and it was most informative and interesting. We got up close with many of the current horses and had our pictures taken with them. The end of the tour allowed us to visit the graves of many famous horses, including Secretariat, my personal favorite as he was the Triple Crown champion the year I graduated high school.

We had an amazing visit to Claiborne Farm and the tour ended up being one of the highlights of our Lexington trip.

Our guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the farm’s history and the horses. We learned a lot about the breeding program, saw the famous birthing barn, and got to walk through areas of the farm that really give you a sense of how special this place is in the horse racing world.

By pure coincidence we visited on Secretariat’s birthday, and the group even sang “Happy Birthday” in his honor at his gravesite. That made the experience feel really memorable.

We were also able to get up close with some of the horses, pet them, and even feed them peppermints, which was a fun moment for our family (and our toddler Pierce loved it).

If you’re anywhere near Lexington and even slightly interested in horses or racing history, this tour is absolutely worth doing.
