Couto Construction

I used Couto Construction back in 2021 when I replaced my roof (see my review under their New Bedford, MA, location). This time around, I had called them back for new windows, vinyl siding, and gutters. Tyler Mello was my sales rep once again, and I really appreciated that because I knew that if Tyler was still with the company, it must be a great place to work.

Carlos Pereira was the project manager, and he was a dream to deal with throughout the whole process. He was very communicative, which made me feel confident in the process. I made a last-minute change to a window and they took it in stride. Even the office staff was very helpful in getting me the paperwork I needed for the additional project. For the actual siding and window installation, I had Jose and two other employees at my home for a little over a week. Phenomenal isn’t a strong enough word to describe the work that they did to my house. All of my neighbors, family, and friends have told me how much they love the way my home looks. I’ve even had several people tell me that they will recommend Couto in the future based on the wonderful job they did. The project actually started - and finished - on the days that they said it would. The team worked so hard, even in the rain.

The additional project that I added on was tiling to my shower after I chose to go from a full-size bathroom window to a hopper. Joel came to do the tiling and he did a fantastic job. It looks like there was never a full-size window in my shower! I felt so bad for him because it was absolutely down-pouring the day he came, but he made sure to take his shoes off every single time he entered my home.

The last piece of the total project was tightening a few loose ends. There was a gap at the bottom of my storm doors because Couto had to move the doors forward with the siding and trim. Additionally, an already-damaged wood panel in my dining room got shaken up during the construction process and cracked. Josimar and Rodrigo came to my home to take care of this. Once again, the professionalism of the team was incredible. Everything was explained to me, and they were very respectful of my home as was Joel, Jose, Carlos, and everyone else who came inside. Josimar and Rodrigo even hung new mini blinds for me, which they really didn’t have to do, but Carlos said the team would take care of it. The door to my backyard posed a little challenge because of a concrete slab, but they somehow made it even better than it was before the project started.

Couto uses the “GroupMe” app so that both the production team and the homeowner are involved in every decision and process and can communicate when they have questions, and I always had questions! I was so nervous for this project to start, but I can’t believe how it turned out. There has not been a single issue to report with this entire process. If anything, they have exceeded my expectations and then some. They worked quickly, but took the time to make sure everything was done right.

I can’t say enough about Couto Construction. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to improve the exterior of their home.

Cannot not say enough great things about Couto Construction. David and Alexandre shown in the pics are the masonry gurus! I only wish I had before photos it’s literally night and day! And the roof work was done efficiently by several workers. They raked all the nails and even swept up the sawdust! All very polite and respectful, just really nice folks! We also needed assistance with financing which was a breeze every single person I spoke with was polite, professional and friendly😊. If you’re looking for this kind of work to get done don’t bother calling anyone else, just go direct to Couto, save yourself the anxiety of looking around and getting quotes. Make this your first and only call 1-833-roofing. And another shoutout to Alex Overlan, Estimator, who showed up on a Sunday just so he could work with our schedules. Our project manager, Freddie, keep us up to date on the project and provided timeline and work to be completed on which day and the workers who would be there. Thank you Couto Construction for making our home look fantastic!

I highly recommend Couto Construction if you're in need of a new roof. Everyone was so courteous and professional from start to finish. Starting with Tiler Levesque who was came to give us a free estimate to Paulo Mendes our project manager and ending with David and William who were here today to finish the half dormer and window. They worked tirelessly all day from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. I am so happy with the finished project. Thank you to all 🤩

Rodrigo and Claudinei from Couto Construction did a great job on our roof repair! From texting to alert us to their arrival to cleaning up the debris they were both efficient and professional. After they were done and we came out to inspect it Rodrigo even got his ladder out again and did an adjustment on a shutter that had been moved for the work to be done.

The initial meeting with Tyler was also very reassuring and made us feel we were in good hands. He was personable and professional.

They were very accommodating to our schedule for when the work would be done and that was greatly appreciated.

I would definitely recommend this company and this team. We would use them again if needed.

We had an EXCELLENT experience with Couto Construction resolving our roofing issue. We had to have an old skylight removed. Andy Gregoire, our sales rep, was friendly, professional, reliable, and extremely communicative. He stayed in constant contact with updates and check-ins throughout the entire job, which gave us so much peace of mind.

The speed was extremely impressive - we first met Andy on a Thursday, and our roof was fixed just TWO DAYS later.

The crew, Rodrigo and Clauninei are amazing. They are incredibly kind, hardworking and attentive to all of our questions and requests. They worked tirelessly for over 8 hours in the FRIGID cold to get the job done, and the quality of their work truly showed.  I am truly grateful for their hard and exhausting work!

From start to finish, I felt like I could trust this company. They were extremely responsive, seem to stand behind their work, their pricing was very fair (so you don't feel taken advantage of), and their professionalism and reliability were top-notch.

It's really hard to find a company like this these days.  They truly stand out as extraordinary.  I can’t sing enough praises for Couto Construction - if you ever have roofing needs you must call Couto!  Thank you for such a pleasant experience!
