We have been customers at Gary's Power Equipment since 2017. We have purchased a Mahindra compact diesel tractor, (2) snow blowers, a 5-foot York Rake, a 5-foot roller, several pieces of Echo Brand power equipment and a wide assortment of maintenance parts for the tractor.

The staff at Gary's have been an absolute joy to work with. They have provided honest professional advice about our equipment which is much appreciated since we live 2 hours away and have consulted with them on the phone for help in answering any tractor questions that have arisen.

They carry product brands that we have had a lot of experience with both as home owners as well as in a professional capacity.

We are especially impressed with the Mahindra tractor's capabilities as well as it's rugged simplicity. It has held up well over the past 789 hours that we have used it.

We bought that model based on the professional opinions of people in the equipment operating business who suggested it as the best option for our usage needs. If a mirror fogs up when placed under you nose than you are capable of performing the necessary maintenance yourself.

Our combined experience has been employment in both the sales of outdoor power equipment and the professional operation of that equipment and Gary's is the only dealer that we use ourselves and recommend to our friends.

I bought a trimmer and a lawnmower here. After trying to mow the lawn a couple of times, I realized I needed a larger mower and wanted to return the one I had to get a bigger model. They wouldn't even talk to me perhaps my accent was the issue but I didn't appreciate the experience. Well, we’ll be working with a different supplier from now on.

I bought a Shindaiwa/Echo chainsaw online and immediately ran into an issue with it. Gary’s Power Equipment was the closest authorized warranty center, and they couldn't have handled it better. They took the saw in immediately, completed the repair by the next day, and processed the warranty claim for me. This is absolute top-tier service. While I wasn't in a position to buy new equipment during this visit, I will be purchasing my next piece of equipment here. 10/10 highly recommend!

Terrible experience.

Got an Mahindra 1120 from them.
Off to a great start , they didn't fill it full with diesel, when I mentioned it they claimed they put 5 gallons in the day prior. Took it home ran it for about an hour and guess what E started blinking.

When I told them about it they said they were sorry and would fill it up free of charge when I would do a service, well that is all nice and dandy, but I am 2.5 H away and I won't be returning.

2nd,

Their inspection to make sure the machine was in good condition and the bolts etc were tightened down is BEYOND sub par, the machine is at another dealer now with a hydraulic leak for over 1.5 weeks now, the other dealer mechanic looked at the machine and stated that they did an absolute poor job and saw bolts not fully tightened .

third,

Because of their lack of inspection to the machine, my 3 point hitch got loose while reversing without knowing , and parts got either destroyed or bent in such a fashion that it is incapable of using , mind you I don't have any implements , when I called them over 2 weeks ago for the parts, they said they would look into it.. An week goes by and I had to call them once again to ask for a update, well guess what there was none because there was a '' miscommunication'' , now when they did look at the parts they had the absolute audacity to mention the cost it would be for me to order the parts for their total screw up .

So currently I bought a brand new house, that needs a tractor to get the lawn/yard ready, and with 10 hours on the machine it has been damaged, parts broken or bend and it is sitting at a dealer with an hydraulic leak and a empty fuel tank. but the worst part is just the lack of helpfulness, so for your sake buyer beware

2003 I purchased a wood splitter as a 15 year old... 23 years later ive purchased 12 chainsaws, 11 weed whackers, 5 leaf blowers, 5 exmarks, a DR Field and Brush Mower, a commercial splitter and conveyor. Owning a landscaping business break downs happen and i can always count on the team a Garys. You won't find better people or service hands down!
