Absolutely outstanding chocolate‑tasting experience!
April was an exceptional host — knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly passionate about cacao. She guided us through 14 different types of chocolate, giving us three pieces of each so we could really explore the flavours. The portions were generous, the explanations were fascinating, and the chocolate tea was a divine surprise.
The setting was breathtaking, with views over cacao fields with the Pacific Ocean in the distance. It created the perfect atmosphere for a truly memorable experience.
Our whole group — including two teenage children — loved every minute of the hour‑and‑a‑half session. It was fun, educational, and delicious from start to finish.
Highly, highly recommend. A must‑do experience.

This tour was recommended by a friend and wow, it didn’t disappoint! Wren, Jude, and Jessie were amazing hosts for the tour and tasting! They are clearly passionate about what they do and love sharing their love of cacao with others! We tasted 14 different cacao samples (not all cacao is created equal) and toured the entire farm with Jude. We learned so many new things about chocolate! We also met Colin, the owner and farmer. He was also so friendly and eager to share his knowledge with others.

Volcanoes aside, this was by far the coolest thing we did while visiting the Big Island. I learned so much valuable information, and enjoyed some amazing chocolate samples. Jude and Jessie were authentic, gracious hosts - you can tell they genuinely enjoy talking to people.

Bonus points because most of their chocolate samples are vegan! Surprise - high quality chocolate does not need many ingredients to taste delicious. They’ve made a lifelong fan out of me.

What an amazing, and beautiful farm. Tucked away in the hills, it's a wonderful stop for any lover of chocolate. We met the owner Colin Hart, who let us wander the grounds before he turned the tasting over to his assistant Jude. So many wonderful flavors to sample and savor. Jude was so informative and friendly. We just can't say enough positive things about Honolii Orchards. Make the visit. You won't be disappointed.
