Just had an amazing experience at the Nashua Farmers Exchange! My 8 year old granddaughter is extremely interested in growing leeks, so in an effort to promote her gardening interest, I thought maybe there would be some starter sets available (figured it was too late for seeds & might be frustrating to go that route). I was greeted by an enthusiastic & understanding Claire, a wonderful woman from France, who immediately found a set of leeks ready to plant, guidance on how to do so PLUS some fabulous tips on how her French Maman would prepare leeks & other recipes to enjoy them. Kate also offered suggestions for success.

Thank you Claire & Kate for supporting this grandmother to spark the beauty of gardening in another generation! I'll definitely be back again.

If you’re looking for something for your garden or farm, this is a great place to go. They have things you won’t find it big box garden stores and the service is excellent. Check their opening hours before you go.

Was incredibly happy with the services rendered at Nashua farmers exchange. The fine gentleman who helped us, Travis, was incredibly knowledgeable and is exactly who you want to talk to when you have questions about your yard. Don’t shop at the big box stores, shop local and support people like Travis (and the shop dogs). They also offer seminars that were really excited to try!

I visited for the first time yesterday - they are running a great deal right now on seed potatoes and have several varieties.

It's actually hard to believe I haven't been here yet! Built in what was historically a small rail station, this shop is full to the brim with nearly everything needed to run an efficient residential garden, with sections for domestic animal care, wild birds, pest control and a smattering of eclectic decor, too. The product selection is unique and seems thoughtfully selected - largely geared toward sustainability, utility, and DIY. I browsed the whole store and spotted many items and brands you might not find in other local stores. I ended up leaving with a big paper bag full of seed potatoes ($1 right now) and a small selection of other odds and ends I needed for the yard/garden.

While I can't overstate how much I wish we still had the old passenger railroad connections, this place is definitely worthy of the spot it's in. As more people get turned on to gardening, especially with limited spaces and nontraditional techniques, I hope this store will continue to serve the community into the future. Check it out!
