Horrible experience!
I took my zero-turn mower in to have the drive belt, deck belt, and a pulley replaced. Two weeks later, I received a call saying my mower was ready and that I owed $700. At no point before the repairs did anyone call to discuss the cost or ask for my approval. That lack of communication was very disappointing.
When I picked up my mower, I decided I no longer needed the new deck belt because the one on it was still in great condition. The employee at the front counter became visibly upset when I returned it, but I didn't think that was appropriate.
About three weeks later, I had to take the mower back because the deck wasn't level and it was cutting unevenly. Once again, I received a call saying it was ready. When I asked what the issue was, the employee with the beard at the front counter told me the deck was fine and that one of my tires just needed air and a patch.
When I went to pick it up, I was told I owed $125 for putting air in the tire and patching it. I honestly couldn't believe it. I asked if he was serious, and he looked me in the eye and said that I "always have a problem with their pricing" and told me to get my equipment and never come back.
That's exactly what I'll do.
Charging $125 for air and a tire patch is outrageous. They also tried to charge me $150 for a deck belt that sells for around $40, and the employee got upset when I questioned it.
The mechanics who actually worked on the equipment seemed to do a good job, so I have no complaints about them. However, the customer service and communication from the front counter employee were unacceptable. If you don't mind paying inflated prices and dealing with poor customer service, this may be the place for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Write oneWherever you buy an expensive item or product, automobile, boat, RV, etc, to then have to wonder if the company is going to be there AFTER the sale.
I don't have to wonder this with Reliable Equipment.
After leaving with my Kabota after routine maintenance, we had a blowout on the trailer. The blown tire dented the fender so much that I couldn't change the tire.
After limping back to Reliable Equipment, not only did they let me leave the trailer/tractor there overnight, but when I came back, they had repaired the bent fender so that I could install my spare and get home!
I so much appreciate the effort the service department made in helping me.
Thank you!
This review is about the Parts Dept. Never bought a tractor from them I have bought equipment/attachments for my tractor. Based off my experiences in the past with service and parts I prob never will buy my next tractor from them. I need reliable service after the sell.
This is just my last experience. Every experience has been like this for me.
I sheared a bolt in on my bush hog (first one). I drive for 30 minutes to the dealership from my home. I approach the counter gave the guy my model of my bush hog. Told him what I needed. He seemed confused as another employee walks up. First employee said he needed a shear bolt second employee stated we are out of stock. I need to get my tractor back in the field. I asked about bolt specs. Second employee says it’s just a standard 7/16 bolt. I asked how long? The second employee states 3 1/2”. Here’s the problem - I never saw the bolt so I’m relying on the parts guys to know what I need. The information was incorrect. I already knew it wasn’t a standard bolt it’s a grade 2 bolt. I leave there go shopping local and spend about 3 hours total drive time and looking for this bolt. Found it at a local supply house. I buy it bring it home. Go to install it and guess what, it’s not a 7/16”bolt it’s a 1/2” bolt. So it won’t work. It is also 3” in length not 3 1/2”. I could make a 3 1/2” work but it’s not correct.
Trips prior I was given the of out of stock comments and was once given the wrong part for my tractor. Only to drive home and find this out. Another time I did my first hydraulic fluid change and was sold way too much fluid. Dealership didn’t even know how much fluid I needed. So I had to make another trip to return it.
I wasted over three hours this morning that I didn’t have and am no further along than before I left. I could have called before I left to check on the bolt but, it’s a bolt. I just knew they would have a bolt in stock.
These guys seem inexperienced and simply won’t go the extra step to help. Seem to care less. They don’t carry inventory and need to do things like looking up parts to make sure they are correct. I’ve had them shrug their shoulders when you ask a question. Questions the sales people are aware of and know the answers to but not the parts dept they are clueless.
I try and support local business and like personalized service. This is a dealership I expect knowledgeable employees and parts in inventory. Bolts are what $3-$4 a piece. You can’t keep those in stock?
You guys make it easy to use Amazon delivery.
Great place to buy some new equipment! They have a nice display. Go Kubota! And remember to keep batteries charged and decks clean! And be sure to tip the mechanic! They are great workers!
I recently visited Reliable Equipment to make a purchase, and I couldn't be more impressed with their exceptional service, thanks in large part to the outstanding assistance of sales guy Nick. The process was incredibly simple and easy, exactly as their name suggests. I walked in knowing what I wanted, and within 10 minutes, I was in and out with my purchase in hand.
Nick's professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency were truly exemplary. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a seamless and pleasant shopping experience. The entire staff at Reliable Equipment was welcoming and helpful, but Nick's personalized attention made a significant difference.
