Rural King

The store itself isn't bad and neither are the products, but if you have to have anything mechanical done, such as warranty work on a tractor, I seriously feel sorry for you. They had our rural king tractor for 4 months(went in in September)didn't work on it. We were told by customer service there were literally inventory pallets stacked on it. We talked to store mechanic and he told us twice, parts were ordered and they were waiting on them(by now its November).Turns out parts were never ordered. Mechanic at rural king store, quit answering the phone and when we called he was "busy" or would call us back, so we couldn't get hold of anyone. We had to call corporate to get anything moving.(January has now arrived, a whole new year)They finally called saying all was good to come pick it up. Got it home that same evening, check engine light came on. Called, they sent a different mechanic out, says it's fuel pump (tractor set for 4 months not getting started or ran most likely what caused it) Next day 4 wheel drive starts acting up again, literally same issue it went there for 4 months ago. Front end/4 wheel drive (mechanic called part final drive) starts growling and inside shaft falls out and pours out fluid. Turns out they hadn't put a keeper lock ring on it when "fixed" it, not sure that was all they hadn't done. The mechanic that came to our farm to pick up our once again disabled tractor said it wasn't going back to that rural king store and he took it to fix it, but unfortunately for us extremely bad weather hit and mechanic said their hours were cut back, so here we are again waiting on a tractor(cue in February)that we bought brand new to feed our livestock with on our farm and can't use.

Wonderful farm and country store. Pickup up of tractor equipment was easy. Check in up front then drive around back for pickup. They loaded the equipment onto the trailer. Associates are very helpful in RK guns department. Nice selection for the store also. They have a beautiful card selection up front! It's nice to be able to pick out something other then the normal cards you see other places. Resalable price for the cards. Great selection of everything you would expect. Plus nice signs and garden decor.
