Spartan Equipment

Very prompt shipping, and well packaged for simple handling. I ordered the 10" auger stump grinder to attach to my skid steer/mini excavator auger drive unit. It is best suited for fresh stumps cut close to the ground, however will easily tackle taller stumps as well. Most efficient is to cut all stumps regardless of how fresh or old, close to the ground and then finish with a quick grinding. Very pleased with the performance and the service. Well built and expect to get a lot of use out of it on a large tree thinning project I am working.

I purchased a 90" Spartan finish mower, and it is one of the best investments I have made!! I have tried some other brands, and just wasn't satisfied, but this one actually works GREAT! I did do a little improvising on the safety switch and pivoting rear gauge wheel arms, as whenever I would go to back up, they would fold and shut the mower off... so I just made them rigid, and it works like a top!! It even does well in real tall grass/weeds, you just have to drive slower, but it will do just fine! Also the independent tilting of the mower with the terrain is absolutely awesome!! Highly recommend this machine!
