The Farm At Walnut Creek

After hearing for years from family/friends/coworkers how wonderful this place is, my family (kids are 2 and 4) finally went for the very first time yesterday, and we already cannot wait to visit again! Such a perfect place to visit on a beautiful sunny summer day! We absolutely loved the wagon ride- such a variety of animals to feed up close, and our wagon driver, Sam, was so kind. I appreciated how the wagons were not over crowded with people, so there was room during the ride to move around a bit. Feed is provided on the rides, no need to buy any. Remember this place is does not take credit/debit, so bring cash. After the ride, we enjoyed free cookies in the nearby house upstairs. Great place for the family, check it out!

We visited with kids and grands for a total of 13. The grounds were immaculate. The animals were well loved. The staff was very nice. A HUGE thank you to Mr. Levi Yoder for the wagon ride. He was so fun and made it very educational. And Mrs. Yoder for baking such yummy cookies! Our tiny Lima went back for thirds and this Grandmother was so very sweet! If you are considering it, go and definitely take the wagon ride!!!

We have visited before. This trip for the Grandkids. They really enjoyed.
The walk from the parking lot to where you board the wagons is a little difficult, especially for older folk. Would be nice to board at the parking lot, or have wagons to transport from the parking lot to the boarding area. Aside from that it was quite enjoyable. Our wagon driver was Andy. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Such a unique & enjoyable experience! Went on a date with my husband & I and we enjoyed every second! The property is easy to navigate especially after they provide you with a map (farm is mainly gravel that requires some walking up hills & stairs - nothing crazy strenuous. Many families were pushing strollers with ease). They also include a brochure of all the animals they have & extensive information about the property. We opted for the wagon ride & it was so fun! Up close and personal with all the well behaved animals! The facility was clean & the animals seemed well cared for. Staff/personnel were kind, helpful & hard at work creating a positive atmosphere. Everything, even down the landscaping impressed us. This is a wonderful place to bring your kiddos, go on a date like we did or simply come by yourself to surround yourself with peaceful & interesting vibes. Recommending The Farm to everyone I know!
