Last night at 8pm I submitted an order for 5 gallons of kerosene for pick up prior to closing… I received an email saying my item would be held until 9pm and would be ready when I arrived. I live about 50 minutes from the nearest tractor supply store… but I made it to the store at 8:48pm. When I began to walk towards the store the staff member on duty jumped out of the passenger side of a vehicle and ran to the door. I thought it was strange but he pulled the door shut and locked it. I told him I needed to pick up my order and that it wasn’t 9pm.. he was laughing and shaking his head at me until he just turned his back to me and walked away. It seemed like a really gross power trip? He waited in the store until 9pm and then walked back out to the vehicle he was sitting in when I arrived. The kerosene was to heat my home as I have a 1 year old child. I have never written a negative review in my life but this experience was disturbing. I bought my kerosene elsewhere but I truly hope that this does not happen to anyone else.

So I'll spare you the details of what went wrong with my large, heavy order being shipped.
Things go wrong, that's just entropy for you (or something).
What matters more is that the staff at this location went above and beyond to make things right. They refunded the sizeable shipping fee, and allowed me to "reorder" the item I bought at the discount I originally paid (discount was gone but they honored it).
That level of customer service is to be saluted and I will be sure to frequent this location in the future. Good job.
