I own a small animal rescue. After 15 years, I finally broke down and bought a used backhoe for farm chores from an out-of-state dealer.

We're not a huge profit center for United, because we have very limited funding. We are not going to be putting big money into United's coffers like construction companies, governmental agencies, and large businesses.

Even so, every person at United that I've dealt with - parts, service, sales, and even admins have been incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive. No matter how many phone calls we made, or how many stupid questions we asked, they always helped us quickly, and with a fantastic attitude. And these requests for help were not one time things. We bothered them for nine months. They never declined to help.

Once, we had to have United come out and fix a leaking front seal that the inspecting dealer missed. The technician spent additional hours to give us a two hour tutorial on how to use and repair our tractor, and the service folks worked hard to reduce what was a huge bill for us to something we could afford.

We could easily buy parts and service from third parties and save a lot of money, but the service and smiles that United provides makes them our sole source vendor for everything related to Deere construction.

I bought a used Deere backhoe, but due to lack of inventory at Schmidt, I ended up buying it elsewhere. Schmidt is my local dealer.

Between sales, service, and their front desk folks, Schmidt went above and beyond to help me with the sale, and to make sure that I wasn't getting rooked. And when a fly-by-night hauler's trailer fell apart on the highway, Schmidt helped me find a tow over Easter weekend to bring home my unit safely.

Exemplary service, and support, even though I have not given them a dime yet.

They have earned my eternal gratitude, and will be getting all of the service work on the unit.
