Wright Implement

Wright Implement's Service Department has frustrated me for years. My experience is with the Turf Department which is residential type equipment - I have no experience with the Ag Department.

Poor communication. They don't answer the phone and don't return messages. Twice after I called and no one answered, I immediately got a text message inviting me to describe my issue. I replied but never received any response.

Poor quality of work. My most recent experience was repair of a lawn tractor tire. I tested it and found it was leaking air from the rim and the sidewall. They charged me $132 to put a new tire on but never checked the seal. Two days later the tire was flat. I tested it again and it was leaking air from the rim. It's evident they didn't check the tire to ensure it was fixed.

Previously I had issues with an electronics failure in my lawn tractor. This became a long drawn out debacle with poor diagnostics to identify the problem. I had to contact a regional JD service organization to get support to resolve the problem.

To get my tire fixed, I took it to Hagan's Outdoor Equipment. They always treat me right and are good with communication. They will have the tire ready this afternoon.

EDIT: I was contacted by the service manager soon after posting this review. Mr. Dougherty was professional, direct and helpful. We had a conversation about my experience and he was genuinely concerned and seemed dedicated to resolving issues within the service department. He offered some complimentary service compensation in an effort to make things right which I appreciate. The fact that he saw my review and took action to resolve the issue is a testament to his dedication.
