Black Lion Construction

I recently had the pleasure of working with Black Lion for a kitchen renovation, and I couldn't be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and professional. Leon, the owner, was especially exceptional. He took the time to understand my vision, offered expert advice, and ensured that every detail was executed to perfection. His attention to quality, reliability, and communication was second to none. The crew was punctual, skilled, and respectful of my home, making the entire renovation experience as stress-free as possible. My new kitchen looks incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with the work Black Lion did. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier craftsmanship and professionalism!

Black Lion Construction is by far one of the best if not the best construction companies out there in Delaware. Leon was straight forward from the beginning told me to shop around first and there was no one who could beat his price. The guys who came to my house were very respectful and always on time everyday and YESSSS I SAID EVERYDAY. The time frame of the work was a great turn around. Definitely looking forward to working with Leon and the team on future projects.

I would almost need to leave my phone number to have people call me to express my complete gratitude for this company.

We had a flood in our house while we were away for Thanksgiving. We worked with insurance for months and had a contractor picked out to complete the work. However, the insurance and contractor could not come to an agreement on the price. After months of planning, we had to cut ties with the contractor and search for a new one. That’s when we found Black Lion after vetting multiple other contractors.

If you’re looking for the cheapest price, this company might not be for you. They are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but they provide a fair price for great quality work. Leon came in and literally saved the day. Black Lion has experience with insurance companies, which made my wife and I feel at ease as we completed the process of rebuilding 80% of our main floor (Floors, Paint, Kitchen, Back Splash, Bathroom, Laundry Room).

Every employee—from Leon (our main point of contact) to Victor (working day-to-day on the project) to Pam in the office scheduling our work—treated our house as if it were their own. They worked with us on every detail of the project and stuck to the contract we had worked out. There were no surprise adjustments as the work progressed.

After months of working with other contractors and the insurance company, my family was distraught with our situation. Black Lion literally came to the rescue. They worked fast and efficiently throughout the entire process. This was our first house and our first construction project. Leon broke down the entire process so that we were aware and felt at ease as the work progressed. Any concerns my wife or I had were addressed directly, making us feel comfortable and happy the entire way.

Thank you so much, Black Lion, for putting my family first and getting us back into our home. My only regret is not calling you first!
