Camping World - Roscoe

We have been looking for a smaller camper with a walk around bed. Found one online at Roscoe Camping World. Drove to the location (an hour and 45 minutes) to see the unit.
Jalin was courteous from the time we walked into the building. He knew exactly where the unit was parked and took us there. We talked about many of the features and then went back to his desk and started talking about the price.
We finally had an agreeable price and the discussed financing with Kelci. We let Kelci know about our credit union being willing to finance the loan. She asked that we give her a chance to meet or beat the credit union. Kelci found a better rate and we agreed to purchase the new camper.
When we went to pick up the unit, Kelsi made the purchase paperwork session easy.
We highly recommend Camping World of Roscoe IL.

If you are planning on purchasing from this particular store either plan on doing things a month or two in advance before you are actually going to need your camper or just go somewhere else. If you do plan to go through them expect there to be miscommunication from employees to customers. Miscommunication from department to department. Miscommunication within departments. Attitude, bad mouthing of other customers in the presence of other customers and no sense of punctuation, and comments of “oh I’m sorry I forgot. I’ll get on that and call you back.” (Never received a call back btw except for maybe once)from the GM. Expect to meet and have several conversations with the sales person before they actually take you seriously. They turned our excitement into disappointment and aggravatation. If you plan on having your camper delivered my advice is to go through someone else entirely. The only reason I gave them a two star instead of one is because we did generally have a great walk through experience with Zach. He was truly amazing in answering questions and made sure we understood things before moving forward. Him personally I would give 5 stars too. Members of management are a joke there.

This Camper World service is excellent. Matt always takes the time and goes above and beyond. The new service Manager Josh is great,he helped get our camper back to us. Alex their porter is another above and beyond. He made sure after the second time bringing camper back that everything was right. This camper has been the camper from hell,but not Csmping Worlds fault. Forest River campers are not quality. We should of done better research. Camping World fixed all the things wrong with the door. I highly recommend dealing with those guys in service.10 stars for the great guys in service.

Found a camper online that I wanted to see. Every aspect of the shopping and buying process was amazing! Selected a used camper that had a few issues. They said the issues would be corrected. Agreed on a purchase price and they set us up for a walk through/orientation of the camper. Everything was repaired, showed us the functionality of all features and then walked us around the retail area. Finished up with financing. Everyone we encountered were friendly, professional and very organized. I would highly recommend the Roscoe location. Impressed!!
