Mike provides great customer service. The shop is well organized, scheduling was a breeze and they even had a nice loaner car for me. The invoice came in slightly under the quoted price.

Write oneI have been going to Fix It Forward since I moved to Fargo several years ago for all my vehicle needs. They are ethical, do a great job at a great price, offer coupons, provide free uber lifts to and from the facility to retrieve vehicle if needed, and are involved in ministry work. If you are a woman unsure who to trust with your vehicle, this is the place!
My experience with Fix It Forward was a memorable one. The team was respectful throughout and did their best to diagnose my heavily modified car. The initial repair didn’t resolve the issue, but the moment I let them know, they were ready to jump back in — I’d already tracked it down myself (a parasitic draw, which can be a nightmare to chase). They made things right by refunding the labor for the work that didn’t solve the problem. Between their commitment to their customers, excellent communication, and the free Ubers, they’ve earned my continued business
I would recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with their quote. I had my car towed to their 52nd location to get a new starter installed, they were able to diagnose the problem the next day accurately but the quote was very high. They wanted to charge over $1700 for a starter installation. I do recognize that it is not a simple swap out as the transfer case needed to be removed to access the starter, but I was able to get a second quote for roughly $1000 cheaper which turned out to be 3 hours of labor for one guy plus the starter, which I went for and it turned out great. I am unable to find out how many hours I was quoted from Fix it Forward, as my repair estimate all of a sudden disappeared when I declined the service. They did recommend some other maintenance items as well that were due, with the total for everything quoted being $2800. I would be willing to bet I could have gotten a lower cost estimate at the GMC dealership.
I am extremely impressed with the integrity and backing of their work from Fix It Forward. I received a new oil pan here a couple years ago (among other repairs). The oil pan ended up leaking again which was discovered by another mechanic where I moved to in Minnesota. I contacted Fix It Forward and they honored their warranty and covered the cost to fix it again at the other mechanic, which I was very impressed with. They did a great job with every other repair I've gotten there, and they backed their work and made things right with the oil pan! I highly recommend them.
