Honest Mechanic

It’s been several months since Josh and his team serviced my 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo, and I’m still impressed. Their workmanship and customer care are truly outstanding. Because it’s a smaller service center, you may need to leave your car for a few days, but the wait is absolutely worth it. They keep their word, stay in touch throughout the process, and always return calls when you leave a message.

Josh is amazing. I haven’t had a single issue with my beloved car since their service. I think I’ve finally found my people.

I came because my blast shield had some loose screws and I simply wanted it fixed/replaced at an affordable cost, hopefully to have it fixed that same day and Josh (The Owner) and Z (The Technician) were kind enough to push their lunch off a little longer to see the issue since it was a simple process. John Mark was also kind enough to offer a free ride so I wouldn’t have to wait at the warehouse. And the name ‘Honest mechanic’ rang true, because they were upfront with me on the different ways we could fix it so I wouldn’t have to spend a lot.

Josh, the Honest Mechanic, goes far above and beyond for his clients and holds himself and team to a high standard. This was a great first experience. I love the very detailed inspection report with photos, updates, and most of all his real honesty with clients. The shop prides themselves on education all around from their team’s know-how, to educating and empowering their clients. This is an incredibly woman-safe space, and I have already referred several people to visit The Honest Mechanic, when they need their next auto service. The price was very fairly priced, and well worth it.

Josh did a phenomenal job repairing my car. He completed a brake flush and replaced the brake caliper, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. He’s very understanding, professional, and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything that’s wrong with the vehicle in a way that’s easy to understand.

What I appreciated most was his honesty. Josh never tried to upsell me on unnecessary repairs or services — he focused only on what actually needed to be fixed. It’s hard to find a mechanic who is both trustworthy and skilled, but Josh definitely is. The quality of service was outstanding, and I left feeling confident my car was repaired the right way. Highly recommend him to anyone needing reliable automotive work.
