I struggle with this rating because I've always loved IFA and would love to give 5 stars. But I have to call out that I got 8 chickens, 3 different breeds. Only 3 of the chickens (one breed, Speckled Sussex) were correct. As they've grown older, the others didn't look like what I thought they would so when I sought more info, turns out 5 of the chickens (2 breeds) were very much not what I asked for. I was new to chickens at the time so I didn't notice but as I look at pictures of the breeds I wanted, the chicks look totally different than the chicks I was given. I wanted black Australorps, but turns out they are Sapphire Gems, and turns out the chicks of the two breeds look totally different so I'm not sure how they got mixed up. Two others was supposed to be ameruecana. Turns out they were Welsummers, pretty obviously so. Not sure how they all got mixed up, but would be good to look into so they don't get mixed up in the future (maybe the employees grabbed from the wrong section? Not sure). I still like IFA and will continue to shop here, both the sapphire gems and welsummers are good breeds still, just was disappointed because I was really looking forward to those chickens.
