Washa Remodeling & Design

My wife and I recently had Washa remodel our kitchen countertops. I really only have positive feedback. I appreciated the team as well as the subcontractors involved. The company had high ratings across varying online platforms and the reviews were good which is how I tend to first screen for estimates. The estimate was very competitive, and all involved were responsive, patient, and flexible so far as working out what we were looking for. They owned the minor mishaps and resolved them to the best of their ability without my needing to push the issue. The biggest selling point for us, however, was that the whole team came across as normal, reasonable people who didn't give salesman pitches or make the job seem harder or easier than they thought it really would be. Everything was straight forward and practical and they got the job done.

Washa Remodeling saved us from the fiasco created by the first company we hired to put a bathroom in the basement bedroom and redo the bedroom itself. The previous company had started a year and a half earlier by putting up framing with a bathroom floor plan that did not meet city codes. They never finished and we had to go to small claims to get our money back. Adam from Washa gave us a quote that was higher than the one we had, but, obviously, it was necessary to do the job correctly. Steve Wineland, the site manager, is tops in the trade. We have had a lot of construction work at our home and our business and Steve is the best. The subcontractors were also outstanding. The flooring was delayed in arriving due to covid, but that was the only problem. The room and bathroom look amazing. We are going to start our next project very soon of remodeling our existing bathroom configuration on the first floor. I would recommend Washa for any project even if their price is somewhat higher because they are professionals, and, you get what you pay for.

There aren't enough positive things we can say about our experience with Washa Remodeling. We did what is (for us) a large remodel project- living room, kitchen, cedar ceiling install and several other accompanying projects like door replacements, wood flooring, etc. The lead carpenter was excellent and took great care to make sure everything was completed with precision. The work and the design incorporation was excellent. The whole team was knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and well coordinated. We're very much looking forward to having Washa handle our next remodel project.

We highly recommend Washa Remodeling & Design for your next remodeling project. The team was great to work with - they listened to what we hoped to achieve with our master suite and bathroom remodel project, then designed and delivered something even better than we imagined! We absolutely love our new space! We were kept informed throughout the entire process and they were great with answering all our questions. We look forward to working with the Washa team again!
