The Retreat at King Cole Farm

This is how you build a campsite. Tha staff and the owner was responsive and polite. Very personable. They always found time to talk. Very close to everything but out of the city. You are surrounded by farms. Quiet and comfortable place to stay. You will enjoy the rest.

What a great little campground. The sites are level and spacious. Easy in and easy out. And most importantly, they come through on a regular basis to spray for mosquitoes. The cabins have a screened in porch and very well maintained. If I'm ever in Delaware again, I will definitely stay here.

The campground was very clean with level and easy to access sites. The staff were very responsive and it was a bonus to be able to get mail and packages delivered easily. The only negative is there are no bathrooms or laundry. Not a huge deal breaker but a laundry room would be a fabulous addition. Great for a short stay

The cottages were beautiful. We had 1 cabin and 2 other family groups each had one. It was very quiet and relaxing. Definitely plan on going back when we visit Delaware again. We also recommended them to all our family members.

Amazing stay! We were in DE for a lacrosse tournament and several teammates booked cottages too. It was clean, peaceful and perfect. They players had lots of space to practice fundamentals between games, and all of the kids loved their “tiny homes.” I had trouble with the lock box upon arrival and called the staff. It was immediately corrected on the spot. Excellent service!
