I often run to Woodcraft to pick up items for my husband. Sometimes I know exactly what I’m looking for and how it’s used and can talk intelligently on the matter. On other occasions I go in with a picture or a list. The most recent visit was just that. I had a vague idea of what I was there to purchase. It wasn’t an item that was Stocked in store and was going to have to be ordered. The item was looked up on the manufacturers website to get proper numbers to order it, but there were two versions of the same item with a considerable price difference. I started asking questions in order to determine which one I should choose. The person at the counter was unable or unwilling to explain what the additional piece was. So I opted for the more expensive one with more options, but when it was rung up, I noticed the price was not accurate and so I started asking questions. She seemed to be annoyed at that and then said that they have a very difficult time getting a product from this manufacturer and so it could be three weeks or more before we received it, And then, oops nope they don’t have it in stock so it can’t even be ordered.
I also needed to buy a sawblade which I knew the size and the teeth count I needed and I knew what it was being used for but again I had certain choices and I again I asked for clarification on what this specific item or word Was and again received no real explanation Just more annoyed attitude, as if I was bothering her.
I get it if she didn’t know the answers, but ask someone who does. To be annoyed at a customer because they ask questions on the products that they’re wanting to buy seems a real good way to not have repeat customers.
( btw I contacted the manufacturer directly to order the piece that I went in for. Not only was I able to order it directly from them, but I was able to confirm that they did have them in stock and in less than 24 hours it’s been shipped out and I have a tracking number. This was a $200 plus Item.)

Write oneBeen here a few times. They have a decent selection of woodworking tools and supplies, including power tools, hand tools, finishes, and lumber. They also offer classes for beginners, as well as for craftspeople looking to improve their skills.
I needed a gift for a woodworker and wasn’t exactly sure what I was looking for, so I spent some time browsing the aisles. I ended up finding a couple of specialty files that should be a nice addition to their collection.
When I checked out, the cashier reminded me that there was a $10 coupon available. I saved enough to get a Starbucks.
As a beginner hobbiest woodworker, this place is fantastic. The tools and supplies are great, and they have many fun kits. But where this place really shines in my mind is the staff. They are very knowledgeable, and always willing to help you in any way they can.
Great selection of tools and equipment! No matter what I always find something I “need”! Prices are comparable to other wood stores. Love coming here!
They have a good selection of off cut exotic woods and some bigger sizes of domestic hardwood. Way better selection than the big box stores. The staff seemed nice and asked if I needed help a few times. I knew what I was looking for, so I didn't require help. It's still good to know they are around just in case.
